What’s inside
Most feelings wheels stop at the wheel. This set gives you an original 3-ring wheel (75 everyday words, including the low-energy feelings most wheels skip, like numb, drained, and flat) plus the pages that make it work: a body map, a 0 to 10 thermometer, a feelings and needs guide, a 'find the word' worksheet, a mixed feelings page, a weekly log, a word bank by intensity, and 12 conversation prompt cards. There is also a kids' faces wheel for younger clients. Color and black and white. Clinician use with your own clients is included, so no separate commercial license is needed.

How it’s used
Built for
- Teens and adults building a feelings vocabulary, including the low-energy feelings most wheels skip
- Kids, with the faces wheel and the thermometer
- Therapists, school counselors, parents, and teachers who want more than a single wheel
A simple flow
- Start with the color wheel: begin in the center and move outward to a word that fits.
- Rate it on the 0 to 10 thermometer and mark where it shows up on the body map.
- Use the feelings and needs guide to ask what the feeling is asking for.
- Log a few check-ins a week, and pull a prompt card when talking is hard.
Informed by
From the PDF’s evidence snapshot (page 2): In a brain imaging study, putting feelings into words was linked with lower activity in the amygdala, a brain area involved in emotional reactions (Lieberman et al., 2007, Psychological Science, PMID 17576282). That is one lab study, not a promise. Naming is a first step, not a cure.
