Terms of use
The ground rules for using this site.
Plain-language terms for reading Therapist Front Page, using its tools, and buying a clinician toolkit. Short version: it’s education, not treatment or legal advice; referral links are disclosed; toolkits are for your own clients.
Who we are
Therapist Front Page (therapistfrontpage.com) is a publication written by Mason Anglin, PsyD, LMFT, for therapists running a practice. It reviews and compares practice tools, explains insurance and billing basics, and summarizes research for clinicians.
The clinician toolkits sold on this site are sold by Advantage Coaching, LLC. That is the seller name on your Stripe receipt. Everything else on the site is the publication.
By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. Questions go to Contact.
Education, not medical or legal advice
Everything here is educational. It is not medical advice, mental health treatment, a diagnosis, supervision, legal advice, or billing advice. Reading an article, taking a self-check, or writing to us does not create a therapist-client relationship with anyone.
Clinician pages are written for licensed professionals and supervised associates. They do not replace your clinical judgment, your supervisor, your licensing board’s rules, your payer contracts, or advice from a lawyer or accountant who knows your situation.
If you are in crisis in the US, call or text 988, or go to the nearest emergency room.
Self-checks and tools
The self-checks under /tools/ are educational check-ins. They are not screening tests and they don’t diagnose anything. Answers stay in your browser, as described in our privacy policy. Clinician tools are decision support, not diagnosis. You are responsible for how you use them with clients.
Referral links and advertising
Some links are referral links; they don’t cost you anything extra, and we may receive a commission or credit. Referral links are disclosed near the first one on a page, and the full explanation is on the affiliate disclosure. A referral relationship doesn’t buy a verdict; see the editorial policy.
Some pages show ads served by Google AdSense. How advertising cookies work, and how to opt out, is on the privacy page. An ad on a page is not an endorsement.
Vendor details change
Prices, features, plans, and offers for the tools we cover change without notice. We try to link the vendor’s own page and note when we checked it. Always confirm current terms with the vendor before you buy or sign anything.
Clinician toolkits
Toolkits are digital PDFs for licensed clinicians and supervised associates. They are delivered right after purchase. Checkout is handled by Stripe, and the seller is Advantage Coaching, LLC.
- License. Each toolkit is licensed for use with your own clients. Please don’t redistribute, share, or resell it.
- What it is. Toolkits are clinical decision support. They don’t reproduce copyrighted screeners or diagnostic criteria, and they don’t replace clinical judgment, supervision, or protocol training.
- Questions and refunds. For purchase, download, or refund questions, contact us and include the email address on your receipt.
Our content, and how you can use it
The writing, diagrams, and page designs on this site belong to Therapist Front Page unless a page says otherwise. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote a short passage with a link back. Please don’t copy whole pages, republish our articles, or present them as your own.
Product names and logos belong to their owners. Mentioning a company is not a claim of partnership unless the page says so.
Accuracy and corrections
We work to get facts right, cite sources, and say when evidence is thin. We can still be wrong, and things change after we publish. If you find an error, the corrections page explains how to tell us.
Links to other sites
We link to vendors, research databases, government pages, and other sites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.
No guarantees
The site is provided as is. We don’t promise it will be error-free, always available, or right for your situation. To the extent the law allows, Therapist Front Page and Advantage Coaching, LLC are not liable for decisions you make or losses you have from using the site or relying on its content. Some places don’t allow certain limits on liability, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
