About

A publication for therapists choosing tools.

Therapist Front Page reviews and compares the business tools a practice has to pick. It is not a quiz business, not a consumer mental-health blog, and not a coaching sales page.

Who writes this

Mason Anglin, PsyD, LMFT. California license LMFT #121211. He is licensed as a marriage and family therapist. He is not a psychologist, and he is not licensed as a psychologist.

PsyD in clinical psychology and an MA from Alliant International University (2018). He has been in practice for about eight to nine years. Founder and clinical director of Advantage Mental Health.

This site is separate from the other businesses

People mix these up, so the split is named here.

  • Therapist Front Page (this site) is the publication. Reviews, comparisons, disclosed referral links, and the older insurance notes. It is not therapy and not a diagnosis.
  • Advantage Mental Health is the therapy practice. If you need a therapist, start at advantagementalhealth.org.
  • Advantage Coaching is a separate business: nonclinical practice consulting for clinicians. It is not a primary offer on this publication. That company lives at advantagecoachingllc.com.

Testing is not this site

Psychological testing (including ADHD and autism testing) is through Cogniscribe Psychology, not Therapist Front Page and not Advantage Mental Health. Mason works there as a psychological associate, supervised by Youssef Nakhla, PsyD. Questions about testing belong on cogniscribepsychology.com.

Quizzes exist. They are not the product.

Educational check-ins still live on a quiet /tools/ page. They are not in the primary navigation and they are not in the homepage hero. Client-facing articles (first session, when to reach out, and the rest) sit under Client guides. The product of this publication is helping clinicians choose tools.

How reviews work

Evidence levels, and what we will not invent, are on review methodology and editorial policy. Referral money is explained on the affiliate disclosure.
